Holidays are here it seems.

Thursday 11-22-07

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. It’s that time of year, and the headlong rush to Christmas begins in earnest. No. I won’t be standing in any line at Big Box Mart at 4am tomorrow, so don’t look for me. Black Friday will have to start without me.  Keep us in mind for that bike rider on your list. We have a no shipping fee special in the USA right now till Dec. 20, so it saves you some cash if you make a purchase. With oil at the 100/barrel level, you’ll need those extra dollars to pay for gas and heating oil. I’ll be polite here on this holiday and reserve my rant about what an out-of-control, headed-down-the-chute mess this country is in and how upset I am for another time.

Let the holiday season begin!!!!! Easy on the stuffing and mashed potatoes. You don’t want to have to be buying a size bigger anything come next riding season.

Stay well……   Leslie Alderman

The Luggage Locker Blog. We Be Sportbikers.

Posted in Home at 10:37 pm by admin

First, let me welcome you to our new blog website. Thanks so very much to our webmaster, Guy, who got this together and enlightened me as to how useful and important this is. I get too cut-off from the real world at times, and it’s his job to nudge me and get me back in the real cyber-world of what’s available and can be done. Hence…..The Luggage Locker Blog!!!!!! Guy is The Man with all of this, and I simply can’t tell you what a key piece of our operation he is.

I’ll get in here when I can and keep you updated about what I’m working on…what’s new…what’s in development….how my poor, neglected and abandoned bikes are doing (and how much I’m NOT getting to ride them anymore) and just a general update about what we’re up to.

As you all by now know, I come from a background of years of serious interest and participation in the sport of motorcycling (flying too, but thats for another day and website….). I own, ride, and love them all. But it’s sportbikes from which I derive the most excitement. Never has there been a level of performance and styling on par with todays offerings. It’s simply breathtaking. As much as we love all bikes however, there are some serious shortcomings with them.

The issues that motivated me to turn my problem solving solutions into the foundation of this company LuggageLocker.com are the same issues with which we all deal. My goal is to address some of these issues, and provide solutions offered in creative, well-designed / produced, valued products. The need is there, and I’m working to fill it. Please know that when you deal with the company, you are dealing directly with me and a few people I’ve depended on to help guide me. It’s your satisfaction that’s our main motivation. It’s the reason we stand behind every one of our products.  On that, you have my personal word.

Please undersatand that even though I’m new at blogging, I promise to try and keep you updated and informed as to what we’re up to. Check back here when you can and see what’s going on with us. Lord knows I’m opinionated and mouthy enough to have plenty to write about!!!!!

FYI. Tank Locker is now available for the new 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14.

Thanks to Greg Ruff in OK City for doing the fitting and development tweeking of the bag for the C14. It wouldn’t be available had he not offered to do that. Thank you Greg.

Also we’ll have a Seat Sak for the newer Aprilia Tuono available here soon. The seat changed. Thanks to Jim Miller in Toronto for his offer of sending us his seat to use as a pattern. Guess Jim is putting his bike away and doesn’t want to ride in the snow and cold. Imagine that????

Call or email us anytime with your questions. Thanks for the visit.

Ride safe.
