Leslie,
The
TankLocker is great! I was initially concerned about
off-roading with it on, but it held up great on some
very bumpy fire-roads, with a significant load, this
last weekend. It also looks impeccable on the VStrom.
I love the quick on and quick off. One question: How
do I secure the bottom zipper (the one that secures
the bag to the mounting plate)? I don’t understand
how to lock that to the plate to make the bag totally
lock to the bike.

I hope you do not get
tired of hearing this....
What a cool, cool, idea.
I have a Triumph Daytona (03) with a
"plastic" tank and am just sick of straps
that take a good
thirty minutes to
install. These same straps then scuff the heck
out of your tank and I wind up spending xtra $ on
protective film that I
never get on just right. Oh, and the Triumph
bag also cost 150.00. This may be the
most elemental "no-brainer" of all time.
I will be placing my
order first thing tomorrow morning.
Thanks, I envy the hell
out of you....Good luck
Frank

Dear Leslie,
I spoke to you on wednesday about the seat sak
I ordered for my VFR. I wanted to let you know that
it arrived on friday and I am very happy with it.
I am impressed with the quality of your
product. I realize that Rocket Locker
is a small company trying to compete
with some major players and I wish you
the best of luck. I look forward to taking a road trip
and trying out my new luggage.
Sincerly,
Jeremy "Scott" C.
P.S. Look for me on page 75 of the September Cycle
World.

Hi Leslie.
Here are the pictures I told you I would send. I
like this bag a lot. Prior to ordering, I didn't think
I was going to like it. I thought the bag would be too
small, but to my surprise there is plenty of room and
then some. Everything I need to take to work fits in
the bag. The best part is that it attaches to the seat
and I don't have to mess with bungy cords any more.
This is one hell of a bag. Awesome job.
Thanks,
Ruben H. Elenez

Les,
I got the bag on Thursday as promised, and was
pleased to see the high quality of construction. It
held enough stuff for a weekend trip from Mpls to La
Crosse WI for some back road riding.

Awesome! That's
all I can think of right now... I
got the Zip Pak and Tanklocker (in black and red ) today for my 03
R6 in the mail. Installed in about 5 minutes and it looks
great. I enclosed some pictures for you. The
bike is not stock for customer reference (aftermarket exhaust, bar
ends, directionals and lights). All that should make no
difference to the use of your products.
I'll be submitting my
rider rep form today! Thanks again,
phil g

Thought I would let you know I am very happy with the bag and had a great
trip. I was able to carry all the necessities to get me through a week
on the road. It stayed on though for over 1800 miles and plenty of
twisties.

Hi Les, The bag fits well and
snug on my R1 and it's off down to Italy this weekend for
a week. My friends are impressed too.

Just wanted to let you know that I received my Elite
Zip Pak tail bag for my SV650S today. The bag has exceeded all of my
expectations and I'm sure it will serve me well. I can't wait to get
home this evening and attach it to the bike.
Thanks! Dan W.

Hi,
I recently got an Elite Seak Sak for my Z1000 and wanted to say I am
very happy with it. ...... Finally, someone made a good quality tail bag
without using bungees. I know a lot of Z1000 riders that would like a
bag like this that doesn't scratch their tail section paint job. I have
attached a pic of my Z1000 in case you would like one for the website (I
hesitated for awhile in buying the bag b/c I couldn't find a pic of the
finished product installed on a Z1000 on the website). Best of luck with
your business!
Thank you, Brian White

I
picked up my "Elite zip pack" for my R1 yesterday from my
friend in L.A. I must say that
I am impressed. It’s
"perfect" and exactly what I was looking for. In a word, you
have answered my dreams!
I like your style and your attitude towards your luggage and your
marketing. I can't see any reason why a sport bike owner with a bike
that has a removable rear seat "would NOT want to buy your
product"!!! I’m a believer in your product, so let’s see if
we can get more interest in
the
UK. The price is spot on too...

"Leslie, I just wanted to let
you know that the tank locker has really expanded the
capabilities of my Hayabusa. As a school administrator
I carry a computer and a planner everywhere I go. Now,
I unzip my aerostich suit and just walk in with my
tank locker bag. Keep me posted on your incentive
program for selling your product. About 2500 high
school age students look at it on a daily basis.

"This
is my second bag and I hope it’s as tuff as the
first one. My first bag was on my 2001 GSX-R1000 when
I left the road to avoid a deer.
The bike high-sided and did an end-for-ender three times. The
bike was totaled. I was pissed, and the Rocket Locker
and all the contents were virtually unharmed. This
included a Nikon digital camera. These bags are more
than tuff; they’re bullet-proof!"

"The bag arrived today and I am VERY impressed. I've done a
lot of machining through the years and this is a first class
unit. If you are able, send me some business cards or literature
for distribution at rallys. One thing more. What about a rain
cover? Thanks again, P. S. I'll get a photo out when it stops
raining here."

Upon unpacking the bag I was more than impressed! What
a fantastic solution to a problem which at the least is a hassle of
straps, constant on the road re-fittings, damaged paint work and at
the worst can result in a crash. A big THANKS for thinking this up
and bringing it to market. I can't say enough about how well I think
this product works."

Thank you so much for getting my Rocket Locker to
me in time for Brainard! I am really impressed with the quality so
far. I almost won't need my tank bag because this thing is so big!
At this point, I will have NO problem recommending your product to
my fellow sportbike riders. Again thanks!!

The bag performed excellently, and all in all, I am
quite pleased with it. The fitment was very good and the build quality
is excellent. I found that there was plenty of room for a trip of
5 days in duration, including numerous "non essentials".
Congratulations to you for developing a superior and useful product."

perfect! First impressions
fit

I can tell you now."

"…I
was quite impressed with the Rocket Locker. I had it
packed to capacity. I carried 3 days worth of clothes,
lavatory bag, camera, extra face shield, cell phone
(nice touch on the inner pockets), rain suit, other
small misc. items. It was nice that I could zip the
pack off the bike and not have to worry about securing
it. Best of all…it was great not to have to wear a
backpack, fanny pack, and tank bag. What was also nice
was that because I felt the bag was very secure on the
back of the bike…I was able to ride my ride in the
corners without worrying the pack would fall off or
shift. My buddies that were using the tail packs that
have to be bungeed had to take it easy thru the
corners for fear that their packs could fall off.
Anyway, congratulations on a great product."

"
Had a chance to put the bag to the real test this
weekend. Took off for an overnighter and was pleased with the capacity
of the bag. Was able to pack my tool bag, Plexus, chain wax, two cleaning
cloths, tire gauge, shave kit, pair of jeans, 2 casual shirts, swim
trunks, bicycle shorts, bicycle shirt (bike clothes work well for
hot weather under the Aerostitch), one ski fleece vest, one ski fleece
jacket, and some other misc. stuff. Had plenty of room. The real test
was the weather, it was miserable. As you can tell from the list of
clothing we were expecting both warm and cold weather. Well we got
cold and wet weather exclusively. I can report nothing in the bag
got wet, or even had a hint of dampness. Real impressive considering
the amount of rain we rode in. It was also very windy and the combination
of wet and wind had everyone but me re-securing their soft luggage.
The Luggage Locker never even hinted at coming loose even in those
adverse conditions. Best tailbag on the market, period."

I
have used the your tail pack a couple of times know and
really I can't say enough good things to describe it!
The first few times I put it on I had some trouble hooking
up the front strap; but, now I've figured out a very
simple way to connect it together which now I realize was
obviously how you intended it to be done! You really
put a lot of careful thought into all aspects of the pack.
The
bag works great. It stays secure & does not shift
around . It stays clear of the body work. It
looks good on the bike. Everyone who has seen it
likes what they see too. In my opinion it's the best
tail pack for both looks and function that can be bought.
Great job!
Thanks,
Scott

Hi
Les,
I
just received my Luggage Locker for my R1. I was very
impressed with the craftsmanship. I tried it and it
snapped in place just like it came from the factory.
I really appreciate the way that you do
business. You made me feel like I was a friend.
I wish you much success in your business. You make a
terrific product!
Sincerely,
Mark

Hi there,
To start, I'll have you know that I am not a 'bag'
person when it comes to motorcycles. I don't like straps flapping every
which way, the thought of bungies under pressure on my bike's tail gives
me the willies, and magnetic bags don't appeal to me (visions of
scratched paint come to mind). However, when planning a week in Kauai, I
knew I needed a bag to hold all my gear. It may seem rather odd to pack
a motorcycle bag for a trip for a remote volcanic island some 2000+
miles away...but I can explain. See, I live in San Jose, and my
girlfriend lives in Los Angeles. We were going to leave from L.A.,
simple enough, but I wanted to be on my motorcycle for an event
happening immediately following my return, the second annual
SoCalSVRiders.com meet ominously dubbed, 'The Gathering', held in
southern California.
So I rush-ordered one black Elite Zip Pak and you went
the extra mile to get it out to me by Saturday. I packed everything I
needed for Kauai, intending on using this bag as carry-on luggage on the
airplane...but first, I was going to ride 360 miles down to L.A. The bag
held everything I needed (and more)....reef shoes, hiking shoes, two
sweaters, long pants, two pair of shorts, a couple shirts, and essential
toiletries I couldn't buy or get from a hotel, cell phone and charger
and a sketchpad and markers. That's just what I can remember. The bag
was packed to the gills and I mounted it on the bike with ease..the
baseplate idea is really a stroke of genius, and I love how stable
everything was....the whole ride down, the bag was totally stable, and
the weight was trivial. The bike handled great and best of all, I didn't
have to wear a backpack or worry about straps flapping all over the
place, scratching the paint or worse, getting caught in a wheel (and
this has happened to a friend of mine with another, strap-based bag).
I arrived in L.A., and it was so cool just to be able
to unzip the bag and be off. On the plane, the bag fit well enough under
the seat in front of me to qualify as a carry on, much to my delight. I
was slightly worried I'd have to check it in, but nope, it fit
great...even better in first class. ;)
I found that I had more than I needed for a week in
Kauai (I didn't use the sketchpad or the big warm sweater I brought). It
was also great to be able to buy a few magazines at a store when I got
back and throw them in the bag...that's something I couldn't do before
unless I donned the backpack, planning to buy something. With the Elite
Zip Pak, impetuous purchases are well rewarded with tons of space...and
it's awesome to be able to throw a full face helmet in there. I found my
leather jacket fits quite nicely as well.
In any event, I think this was a great idea, and I'm
proud to own a bag that has shown me that practicality need not come
with straps or magnets. ;) It doesn't look too bad either.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
My name is John Lange and I received a "Seat Sak"
from you about a month ago. You had asked for
feedback on the product and thus my email.
I would like to compliment you both on the quality and
the functionality of the "Sak". At
this point in time I have used it strictly for
commuting back and forth to work and it has worked
very well. My job requires I wear dress pants,
shirt and tie at work. I ride in to work in
casual attire and pack my work clothes in the "Sak"
While it is a little tight, with items carefully
folded into the "Sak", it has worked well.
The ease in which you can mount and remove the "Sak"
is so much better than bungie cords and other similar
methods. I have found myself leaving my BMW
(with saddlebags) at home and taking the Suzuki to
work (it probably has more to do with the fact that
the Suzuki is a blast to ride).
I look forward to some overnight weekend excursions
with the Suzuki and the "Sak".

Hi Les,
I just got your e-mail. THANK YOU for doing this
for me, and I'm sorry that you ended up driving out to
ship it (by the way, the $3 is more than fine by me).
You have taken customer care to a whole new
level, and that, combined with your great products,
will bring you much success! In this day and age
of automation and impersonal consumer transactions, it
is great to know that there are people like you out
there.
Now as I am bragging about your product to my riding
buddies, I can also brag about the way I have been
treated!
Thanks again, and have a great day!
Dave

I don't know
if my previous e-mail went through, but I want to
tell you that I am very pleased with the tank bag
you made for my R1100SBC. Only a few friends
have seen it since I installed it but those who have
think it is the coolest luggage ever. I am
especially pleased with the fact that nothing
touches my paint. The blue piping matches the
Boxer Cup perfectly, the zippers work smoothly and
it looks good installed. If you make a
tail bag for this machine I would be interested.
I don't like the saddlebags for this motorbike
because it spoils the esthetics. Thanks for a
great product. Bill
