available for All Our Products.
This is an optional material (Lexel…100%
waterproof) that is available on all
Luggagelocker bags. Although a bit more
expensive ($20.00 more per bag), it
has a leather look with a suede feel.
To order this material please type "Lexel"
in the Order Instructions Box. We will
add $20 to the cost of the product and
add this amount to your Shopping Cart
total when we run your credit card.
(In other words we will add $20 per
bag after you finalize your order.)

This is the optional 100% waterproof material we have available. You can see it comes in two versions. The standard Lexel has the appearance of leather, while the Lexel Pebble looks like the surface of a basketball. It’s a really nice product, and we’re pleased we have it available. |

It’s used commercially to make golf bags out of. We’re the ONLY luggage makers using it to make bags out of. That’s because our bags are hand sewn in a factory 35 miles from our shop, not in a huge factory on the other side of the planet. It allows us the ability to use materials and processes nobody else does. Over the long haul, I have to believe this will wear a bit better than the Cordura, because it’s a thicker, heavier material. Cordura is about .017 thick while the Lexel runs .040…basically twice the thickness. |

Yes….it’s 100% waterproof. Keep in mind the bag has a zipper and is a sewn product, so I can’t absolutely, positively guarantee something inside may not get damp under the right (or wrong) circumstances. But the material itself won’t let any water in. If you need a sample of either, or both of this so you can physically see it, call us and I’ll mail you a couple of pieces.
